Where Your Donations Go
FOAR is a non-profit organization which receives no local or state funding. FOAR depends on donors to help rescue and find caring homes for animals, and to develop innovative ways to bring the healing touch of animals to people within the community who need it the most. Below are some examples of how your donation helps FOAR accomplish this life-saving work:
$20: covers the cost of one cat neuter surgery
$25: covers the cost of vaccination for one shelter animal
$50: covers the cost of 1 weeks worth of kennel cough medicine
$75: covers the cost of transportation from shelters to foster/permanent homes
$100: covers the cost of one dog spay/neuter surgery
$500: covers the cost of medical treatment of a boken limb
$1,000: covers the cost of a month of training and rehabilitation for abused and frightened animals
$2,000+: covers the cost of an average vetrinary bill for medical treatment of a severly injured or abused animal
